Week 49 at School

Things are beginning to hit home that we will be leaving here soon.  Not quite to panic stations, but getting a little excited/nervous about the coming weeks.

For those reading the online blog, there is more if you click on the Read more>> button below.
The B&S ball was a fantastic success.  I'm sure most of you have seen the photos on Denise's Facebook page.  If you haven't, sorry.

This weekend we are going away with two of the other volunteers.  Not exactly sure where yet, but staying in Same tonight.

One of our visitors left yesterday and the other two leave next week, so we are all visitored out, but we really did enjoy seeing them all.

I had been skiting that I hadn't received a traffic fine, but that all went out the window last week.  I was in town and got out of the bus in the main street as I was in a hurry to complete the shopping.  Little did I know that a policeman was right there.  When I got back to the bus the policeman told me I was a naughty boy and said I had a TZS 30,000 fine.  I asked for a receipt and for that he took the bus and it's contents to the police station.  I didn't go with them, as I said I didn't have time and continued shopping.  I did pay for it out of my pocket as it makes up for all the other traffic violations that I haven't been caught for.

This week we got a new oven in the kitchen.  I get to christen it with roast pork on Monday night.

Must rush as we are leaving in a few minutes.

Until next time.
